At the Board Meeting May 2009, the Board approved the discontinuation of the Buyers Protection & Extended Warranty feature on MemberCard purchases. For those of you that are not familiar with the feature it would gave an additional 90 day warranty on items purchased with your MemberCard for lost, stolen and broken items. From the information we've have been able to track,  we've had only three claims since it was introduced more than 8 or so years ago. 

Given the low usage of this feature, and the annual cost to provide this feature, we have discontinued this service effective July 1, 2009.

Effective July 1, 2009 we will no longer offer the Buyer Protection and Extended Warranty feature.
