Heartbleed Bug

Since the Heartbleed Bug was reported, our banking system provider League Data has been following up with its vendors to confirm that we are not at risk in regards to this bug.  League Data has confirmed with all of our major vendors that our data and the data that flows to these vendors has not been compromised.

 What is Heartbleed?

Heartbleed is a bug in the code running on the servers of millions of websites.  It leaves open a hole that allows hackers to get in and around the encryption between you and the site. This means that the information stored on the servers, and passed between you, could be stolen.  More information can be found at http://heartbleed.com/

League Data has confirmed that up-to-date signatures are indeed enabled on the Intrusion Prevention System for this vulnerability.  These signatures will alert AND block upon detecting a direct attempt to exploit the network.
